ENVIRONMENT MINISTER MEETS WITH UN RESIDENT COORDINATOR IN JORDAN

AMMAN — Minister of Environment, Muawieh Radaideh and UN Resident Coordinator in Jordan Sheri Ritsema-Anderson on Wednesday discussed frameworks for coordination and joint action and means to enhance cooperation in green growth and combating climate change.

During the meeting, Radaideh highlighted the Climate/Refugee Nexus Initiative launched by His Majesty King Abdullah at the COP-27 conference, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. The minister also called for exerting international efforts to support this initiative and implement its important pillars.
