KERALA'S FIRST PRIVATE TRAIN CONNECTING GOA, MUMBAI, AYODHYA TO BE LAUNCHED ON JUNE 4; CHECK FARES, ROUTE, AMENITIES

Kerala Private Train: Kerala is all set to launch its first private train service, commencing from Thiruvananthapuram on June 4. This private train will offer tourists convenient travel options to popular destinations such as Goa, Mumbai, and Ayodhya. This service is set to be managed by SRMPR Global Railways Private Limited in collaboration with Princy World Travels Private Limited

Kerala Private Train: Onboarding Stations

The inaugural journey of the private train will take passengers to Goa, making scheduled stops at Mumbai and Ayodhya along the way. Travelers can also board the train from various stations, including Kollam, Trivandrum, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Thrissur, Kannur, Kozhikode, and Kasargode.

Kerala Private Train: Features

The train will comprise two sleeper class coaches with a capacity to accommodate approximately 750 passengers. Additionally, there will be 11 third-class AC coaches and two second-class AC coaches. To ensure comfort and safety, a team of 60 staff members, including medical professionals, will oversee the train's operations.

Passengers can expect a range of amenities on board, including food services, Wi-Fi connectivity, and GPS tracking. The train will also offer tour packages that include stays in star hotels, meals, and sightseeing opportunities.

Kerala Private Train: Fares

According to Times Of India report, fares for a four-day trip to Goa in the non-AC sleeper class will start from Rs 13,999. For passengers opting for three-tier AC or two-tier AC accommodation, the fares will be adjusted accordingly.

Likewise, fares for a trip to Mumbai will range from Rs 15,050 to Rs18,825. For those embarking on an eight-day excursion to Ayodhya, which covers religious sites in Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Prayagraj, fares will start from Rs 30,550. Children under the age of five will be allowed to travel free of charge, while those aged five to ten will be required to pay half of the adult fare.
