The royal wedding will serve as a historical moment for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. “I’ll never forget how happy his majesty and I were when Al Hussein told us he wanted to marry Rajwa,” she told guests, “she is is the perfect answer to all my prayers for him.”

A live broadcast of the wedding will be airing on Thursday, June 1st, so let the festivities begin! The lovebirds are all set to tie the knot at the beautiful Zahran Palace in Amman, where they’ll sign their marriage contracts in front of two witnesses. After the ceremony, they’re heading to the Al Husseiniya Palace for the mother of all wedding parties and banquets. So far, few details have been revealed about the bride’s dress; we’ll just have to wait and see what stunning gown she’ll choose to wear on her big day.

A royal procession starting from Zahran Palace to Al Husseiniya Palace will cover a whopping 10 kilometers, and it’s all part of Jordan’s Hashemite traditions dating back to 1946. The procession will be led by 71 members of the Royal Guard, with 20 red land rovers and motorcycles following them. Public transportation will be free for all citizens who want to witness the grandeur of the procession in person.

The Royal Hashemite Court revealed that 140 guests, including members of Jordan’s royal family, global royals from around the world, and heads of state, will be attending. The First Lady, Dr.Jill Biden, confirmed she will be attending in a tweet “I look forward to traveling to Amman, Jordan, to join King Abdullah and Queen Rania in celebrating their son, Crown Prince Al Hussein’s, wedding to Ms. Rajwa Al Seif.”

Photos of the two lovebirds can be seen all over the streets of Jordan. The outpouring of love and joy the Jordanian people have for the charming couple is truly heartwarming and shows the popularity of the royals.
